We are looking for a

Financial Accountant (80% - 100%) to join our Finance team in Geneva.
Entry date to be discussed, ideally 1 August 2025

Financial Accountant (60% - 80%) to join our Finance team in Zurich.

Reporting to our Finance and Accounting Manager, your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

Account payables

  • Processing and recording supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Managing and executing payments for invoices, ensuring all are settled within agreed terms;
  • Overseeing and recording petty cash transactions, maintaining accurate records;
  • Generating monthly account statements to the attention of internal departments;
  • Reviewing and entering credit card expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies;

Accounts receivable and cash transactions

  • Supporting the account receivables team co-workers when needed;
  • Recording cash receipts and ensuring proper allocation to the appropriate accounts;
  • Performing weekly bank reconciliations, ensuring all cash receipts are accurately booked;
  • Preparing accruals and identifying any losses on debtors in preparation for closing;

General ledger activities

  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax fillings;
  • Participating in general ledger activities and ensure accuracy of financial records;
  • Assisting in the preparation for closing.

Other

  • Preparing and commenting on-request reports and statistics;
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff and apprentices.

If you meet the following criteria, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in Switzerland;
  • Experience in the legal/consulting industry is a plus;
  • French or English native-speaker (position in Geneva) and German or English native-speaker (position in Zurich) with a very good command of the other language (additional language is an asset);
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel;
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize assignments efficiently;
  • A service-oriented mindset with high standards, experience in fast-paced, deadlines-driven environment;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • High sense of customer service and team player attitude.
