Schellenberg Wittmer advises IFGL on its acquisition of Octium Life Insurance Group

Schellenberg Wittmer acted as Swiss legal counsel to International Financial Group Ltd (IFGL) on its strategic acquisition of Dublin-based Octium Life Insurance Group, a leading provider of life insurances to high net worth clients. Completion of the transaction remains subject to approval from the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulatory authorities.
The Schellenberg Wittmer team included Lorenzo Olgiati, Elia Schunck, Aurèle Bertrand and Emil Alicevic (all Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions), Olivier Favre and Sebastian Zimmermann (both banking and finance / regulatory), Roland Mathys (ICT) as well as Petra Spring (Employment).
