Schellenberg Wittmer advised a group of co-investors, led by entrepreneur Dan Mamane, in their acquisition of sportswear, footwear and sports equipment brand Le Coq Sportif.

Founded in 1882, Le Coq Sportif is a French sportswear brand known for its premium apparel, footwear, and accessories. The company designs, develops, and produces most of its collections in-house at its Romilly-sur-Seine facility and maintains longstanding partnerships with leading French and international sports teams and federations.

The Schellenberg Wittmer team consisted of Christoph Vonlanthen (overall lead), Grégoire Tribolet (Banking & Finance), Lukaz Samb and Gregory Marcos (Corporate/M&A), Lorenza Ferrari and Adrienne Hennemann (IP) and Jean-Frédéric Maraia and Arthur Magnin (Taxation).
