Schellenberg Wittmer advised ams OSRAM on the sale of part of its sensor business to Infineon

Schellenberg Wittmer acted as Swiss legal counsel to SIX-listed ams-OSRAM AG on the sale of part of its sensor business to Infineon Technologies AG. The parties have entered into an agreement for a purchase price of 570 million euros on a debt-free and cash-free basis. The divested business comprises a broad portfolio of non-optical analogue/mixed-signal sensors that are used in the automotive, industrial and medical sectors. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including merger control clearance, and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
