Schellenberg Wittmer advises Group Banque Richelieu on its acquisition of Kaleido Privatbank AG

Group Banque Richelieu is an international banking group focused on wealth and asset management, as well as investment banking, in France, Monaco and the UAE. With the acquisition of Kaleido Privatbank AG and its rebranding to Banque Richelieu (Switzerland) Ltd (subject to regulatory approval), the group expands its scope of business to Switzerland and will offer its services to domestic and international clients.
Schellenberg Wittmer advised on all transactional and regulatory aspects of the acquisition.
The team was led by Christoph Vonlanthen and Grégoire Tribolet (Partners M&A/Banking & Finance) and included Alexandre Zundel, Dusan Ivanovic and Gregory Marcos (M&A/Banking & Finance), Vincent Carron, Catherine Weniger and Wilfried Dovetta (Employment) and Jean-Frédéric Maraia and Arthur Magnin (Taxation).
