Urs Hoffmann-Nowotny: Speaker at the IBA Litigation Committee on Private International Law

Urs Hoffmann-Nowotny chaired a panel on delicta imperii and state immunity at the 4th IBA Litigation Committee Conference on Private International Law in Milan.
The panel consisted of Prof. Gilles Cuniberti (University of Luxembourg), Prof. Fausto Pocar (Professor emeritus of the University of Milan) and Marina Skarbek-Kozietulska (Senior Partner at Rö Radwan-Röhrenschef Petruczenko) and explored the delicate balance between protecting sovereign interests and ensuring accountability of states for crimes under international law that are considered outside the scope of sovereign authority.
