Schellenberg Wittmer elects Clara Poglia to the Management Committee, succeeding Caroline Clemetson

15.05.2025

Schellenberg Wittmer is pleased to announce the election of Clara Poglia as the newest member of the firm's Management Committee (MC). Clara will succeed Caroline Clemetson, whose tenure comes to an end after six years.

Clara has been with the firm since 2014, when she joined as an Associate, and has been a Partner in our Dispute Resolution Group in Geneva since 2019, where she co-heads the practice group.

We would like to sincerely thank Caroline for her outstanding contributions as an MC member. Caroline was the first woman to be elected to the Management Committee of a larger Swiss law firm. During her time as MC member, Caroline played a key role in promoting gender diversity within the firm. She has introduced diversity initiatives and targets for a strong commitment for more female representation within leadership and strategic positions. Caroline will continue her ongoing engagement as a Partner in our Banking & Finance Group in both Geneva and Zurich and Head of the firm’s Investment Management practice. Throughout her ongoing career, she has been and is a leading practitioner in financial regulation, particularly in investment management, earning her recognition as one of the few market leaders in her field.

We congratulate Clara on her new role and thank Caroline again for her strong contribution to the firm's growth and development over the past years.
