Switzerland: Environmental, Social & Governance Law 2024

01.02.2024

In 2023, a wave of Swiss companies updated their articles of association to conform with the new Swiss corporate law and experienced little headwind in this process.

Many Swiss companies are facing more challenging times in 2024 as they gear up to report on non-financial matters, as well as on any due diligence duties they may have in their supply chains in respect of conflict minerals and metals and child labor.

As we approach proxy season, we have refreshed our extensive briefing on ESG laws, regulations, and practice in Switzerland for decision-makers and in-house counsel in a legal landscape increasingly shifting from soft principles to hard-law requirements.

Our team of specialists in our ESG Group remains available to answer any questions you may have.
