Schellenberg Wittmer advises Arole Holding on the sale of Conforama


Schellenberg Wittmer advised Arole Holding SA, the acquisition structure controlled by Swiss entrepreneur and investor Dan Mamane, on the divestiture of Conforama Switzerland to XXXLutz.

Conforama employs 850 staff and operates 20 stores across Switzerland.

With over 370 furniture stores in 13 European countries, the XXXLutz Group is one of the three largest furniture retailers worldwide. 

The transaction was approved by the Swiss competition authority.

The Schellenberg Wittmer team consisted of Christoph Vonlanthen (overall lead), Oliver Triebold, Sophie Bastardoz, Kevin Laurent and Alexander Zundel (all Corporate/M&A), David Mamane and Amalie Wijesundera (Competition and Antitrust) and Samuel Klaus (ICT).
