For cross-border data transfers, the new EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) must be used, amended by a Swiss Rider. Existing SCC may generally continue to be used, however must be replaced by the end of 2022. The effort required to replace a potentially relevant number of existing SCC should not be underestimated.
