Schellenberg Wittmer advises Marubeni Corporation on its acquisition of TOLUS Group AG

Schellenberg Wittmer acted as Swiss counsel for Marubeni Corporation on the acquisition of Swiss TOLUS Group AG.

Marubeni is a Japanese trading and investment firm, engaged in a broad range of global business activities including infrastructure, energy, metals and mineral resources, chemicals, and food.

TOLUS Group AG sells and maintains CNC-high-precision machine tools, peripheral equipment and automation systems in Switzerland and Austria for the manufacture of products in the luxury watches and jewellery, medical technology, and industrial technology markets.

The Schellenberg Wittmer team consisted of Lorenzo Olgiati, Filip Majernik, Nanina Lätsch, Jonas Rahm and Jonas Gribi (all Corporate/M&A), Lorenza Ferrari Hofer and Alisa Zehner (both IP / Life Sciences), Petra Spring and Ruba Kassem (both Employment) as well as Michael Nordin and Tabea Bänteli (both Taxation).
